Has anyone ever heard of someone modifying a Bissell Commercial Lo-Boy OP machine? BGLB-9000

@encapman
@Mike Pailliotet

I'd tag the "other 2 guys," but I'd like to hear from the sane folks..

I like to mess around with equipment and if it's cheap enough, I'm game.. Is the juice not worth the squeeze?

Nate, you should ask that on Damon's Pad Life Facebook page.
They do all kinds of crazy stuff there.

I have a Vario from Excellent Supply. It's an Oreck (same as Mercury, looks just like the Bissell) modified with larger 10" wheels that rolled on the carpet while using it rather than the small original factory wheels for wheeling it around. I used it for many years before getting a different machine a few years ago. The only real problem I had with it was the handle just above the hinge was weak. I did replace the handle once because of it breaking. ES sent me a reinforcement kit to add when I put on the new handle. A minor problem was the mechanism that held the handle upright was wearing and sometimes unlocked while wheeling it around. I would have to put the handle upright again and continue on.
