on light colored carpets really bother me. My Eaglewash solution line is the worst. I have a 125' Continental solution line that I now bring in on light colored carpets, but today I saw even it mark a very light nylon with it's wretched blue dye bleeding off under high heat.

What solution line can I buy that will never do this again? Are there any?

Also what do you guys do to remove the marks? I Often notice after I am all packed up and grooming the carpet. So I go back and forth with volatile solvent and distilled water lightly agitating it with terry cloths..

Goodyear hose has never left color lines on my carpet. It’s “non-marking hose”. What kind of water temperatures are you running?

That may be the winner, thanks. I'm running it as hot as I can with my coolant and salsa hx. I should really check the gauge again. Last time I checked was several months ago in the dead of winter and it was a bit over 200 at the machine. Can't recall how long it had been running either.

I used my PEX 500 for 1 job a week or so ago, I'm amazed at how hot the 2000 watt electric hx on that thing gets the water. My brass fitting on my wand feels the same on my truckmount as the PEX 500 when it's running a lot. A much shorter run, but still impressive.

or Parker Parflex 1035HT if you dont care for braided hose

Are you talking about the difference between braided steel and thermoplastic?

Hose construction type doe sn't dictate color bleed, but Ive never seen or heard of Thermoplastics bleeding, or "my" SuperFlex stuff either.

Westpak has been selling it for decades with no abnormalities

Im sure you can find a weeks worth of reading here on MB about the benefits of both.
I was a die hard 1035HT fan for a long time but my move to NV dictated (no one who could repair it) me having to change to braided, which took me a dozen jobs to get used too.

Back when I ran a Vortex (Aerotech) unit I had 240 at the machine and sometimes would burn lines in carpet. Even then, my Goodyear hose never bled color onto the carpet, but I did learn to turn my heat down to 230 … which was still about 10 to 15 degrees past the point of diminishing returns.
