We haven't bolted it down yet need to add a frame for the waste tank. But we did run the machine off a boat gas can and it didn't appear loud at all.
Just for shits and giggles, get a lawn mower, or a pressure washer, fire it up on open ground. Use a DB meter app on your phone from a measured distance. Then, put it in the back of the van/truck thing, and test again from the same spot.... I bet ya it will be louder... I hope I’m wrong...

Give it a chance. I do believe once letter it will look better.
Just get a custom made canopy for it with slider windows, and a back window that is hinged.... you know, like all the cool old guys have on their trucks....
